UK National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates from 1 October 2015

 

 

 

 

From 1 October 2015, the hourly national minimum wage rates increase in the UK

£6.70 – workers aged 21 and over (increase from £6.50)

£5.30 – workers aged 18-20 (increase from £5.13)

£3.87 – workers above school leaving age and under 18 (increase from £3.79)

£3.30 – apprentice rate for apprentices aged under 19 or if aged 19 or over and in their first year of their apprenticeship. (increase from £2.73)
